Company Dancers
Muriel Acker first joined PDT in 2014, and danced until graduating from high school in 2021. After completing her Bachelor's degree in psychology, she returned home, accepted a job with a community health care company, and now continues her training with PDT. Muriel has performed roles such as the Snow Queen, Arabian Princess, and Doll in PDT’s annual The Nutcracker, as well as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella and the Mazurka lead in Coppélia. She has performed in many pieces in Choreography Showcase throughout the years and has performed at multiple dance festivals hosted by The Ballet Alliance. She’s happy to be back with PDT and doing what she loves.

Sara Bell graduated in 2024 and is now working towards her associates degree. She has been dancing with Bremerton Dance Center for 15 years, and is excited to start her first season as a teacher at BDC. This is her 8th year as a member of Peninsula Dance Theater and her 4th year as a Performing member. Some of her favorite roles have included Bluebird in Peter and the Wolf, Peace in Coppélia, and Marzipan and Spanish Chocolate in PDT’s The Nutcracker. This summer Sara attended Colorado Ballet Academy’s summer intensive, and has attended multiple BDC summer intensives over the years. Outside of dance she loves to spend time playing the piano and hanging out with her cat.
Zoey Carvell is a freshman in high school and a Performing Member with PDT. She has been a part of various productions such as The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Season Opener and Choreography Showcase. Her favorite roles include Gretel in BDC's Hansel and Gretel and Clara in PDT's The Nutcracker. Outside of dance, Zoey enjoys camping at the beach, tending to her budgies (Yellonda and Dream) and High Jump. She was the 2023 West Sound League High Jump Champion with a personal record of 5 feet.
Nathaniel Cisler is a junior in high school. He has been dancing since age 3 and is continuing his training as a performing dancer for PDT. Some of his favorite roles include Marzipan and Snow King from The Nutcracker, Pas De Trois from Swan Lake, along with Cavalier & Bluebird from The Sleeping Beauty. When not dancing, Nathaniel enjoys relaxing, hanging out with friends, swimming, and writing.

Zachary Cisler is a junior in high school and is currently in his 6th year dancing with PDT and his 3rd year as a performing member. Throughout the years, his favorite roles to dance were the Prince, Chinese Trio, and Marzipan in The Nutcracker, Cavalier, a Suitor, and Puss in Boots in The Sleeping Beauty, Neapolitan in Swan Lake, and Mazurka Couple in Coppélia. This summer, Zachary had the opportunity to attend Olympic Ballet Theatre’s 2-week Boys Summer Intensive and The Ballet Alliance’s 2024 Summer Project to continue building skills in choreography and dance. In May 2024, he was honored by being awarded the CTE Student of the Year in the AP Environmental Science department. Outside of dance, Zachary likes playing with his pet cats, reading comics, and swimming.
Hazel Dailey is a freshman in high school and began dancing in kindergarten. In 6th grade she moved to Kitsap County immediately joining the PDT family. She danced as Gerald the Giraffe in PDT’s School Tour production of Giraffes Can’t Dance. Another special experience for Hazel was working with Miss Tammy, PDT’s costume mistress, creating her Witch costume for BDC’s Hansel and Gretel. She also enjoyed working with Miss Betsy in Floral Tea in The Nutcracker and Mazurka in Coppélia. Hazel happily spent her summer creating choreography for her emerging works piece and attending five weeks of dance intensives. Summer Dance Lab awarded her a merit scholarship to their program in Walla Walla, WA. While not in the studio, you can find Hazel tending her backyard chickens and cruising in hot rods.
Sophia Jorgensen is a senior in high school and this is her seventh year as a PDT company member. Some productions she has performed in are The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Coppélia, and Cinderella. Some of her favorite roles have been Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Fairy of Grace in The Sleeping Beauty, and Dawn in Coppélia. During the summer she likes to attend summer intensives and has been to State Street Ballet in 2023 and Pacific Northwest Ballet in 2024. Outside of dance, Sophia enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with friends. She hopes to continue dancing after high school with a professional ballet company.
Anika Oishi is a sophomore in high school who has been dancing since the age of two. Her favorite past roles include Dance of the Hours in Coppélia, Floral Tea Soloist in The Nutcracker, and the Amethyst Jewel in The Sleeping Beauty. This past summer, she attended Pacific Northwest Ballet’s summer intensive. In the past, Anika has also attended several BDC summer intensives and Interlochen Arts Camp on a merit scholarship. In addition to dancing, Anika enjoys playing the cello, reading, and traveling.
Brennan Rood has danced with PDT since 2012. Prominent roles Brennan has performed over the years are: Cavalier, Prince, and Snow King in The Nutcracker, Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Désiré in The Sleeping Beauty, and Prince Charming in Cinderella, as well as many performing roles in various dances in both PDT's Season Opener and Choreography Showcase. Brennan has also participated and performed at various summer intensives around the country, such as Olympic Ballet Theatre's summer intensive in Edmonds, Washington; Long Beach Ballet's summer intensive in Long Beach, California; American Ballet Theatre's summer intensive in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and Summer Dance Lab in Walla Walla, Washington.
Vivian Van Hollebeke is a junior in high school and a performing member with PDT. She has been dancing for 4 years and has been a part of PDT for 3 years. She has performed in several PDT productions such as: The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Season Opener and Choreography Showcase. Her favorite roles have been Doll and Waltz corps in The Nutcracker and a Friend in Coppélia. Vivian attended Boston Ballet's Summer Dance program in 2023 and attended this program for the second time in 2024 on full tuition scholarship that she received at The Ballet Alliance festival. Vivian has also been attending Bremerton Dance Center's summer intensive since 2021. Outside of dance, Vivian enjoys traveling, baking, and hanging out with friends.
