Dancer Biographies

Principal Dancers

Aiyanna Huttleston

Aiyanna Huttleston is a senior in high school and a Principal member with PDT. She has been apart of various productions such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and Choreography Showcase. Some of her favorite roles have been Arabian princess, Rose Queen, and Marzipan in The Nutcracker, alongside Temperament fairy in Sleeping Beauty. During her summers, Aiyanna has spent time training with Kansas City Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Alonzo King Lines Ballet. Outside of dance Aiyanna enjoys skiing, baking, and hanging out with her friends.

Marisa Oishi

Marisa Oishi is a dancer, emerging choreographer, poet, and high school student. Her favorite past roles with PDT include Clara, Snow Princess, and Rose in the Nutcracker, Neapolitan Trio in Swan Lake, and Bluebird in Sleeping Beauty. Marisa has attended several of BDC’s summer intensives, as well as Interlochen Arts Camp for two summers on merit scholarships, majoring in Classical Ballet and Creative Writing. In addition to dancing, Marisa is Chief Editor of her school literature and art magazine, holds officer positions in several other school clubs, and enjoys writing and playing clarinet.

Performing Members

Sara Bell

Sara Bell is a senior in high school. She has been dancing with Bremerton Dance Canter for 14 years. This is her 7th year as a member of Peninsula Dance Theater and her 3rd year as a Performing member. Some of her favorite roles have included Bluebird in Peter and The Wolf, Wally the Bear in BDC’s recital Teddy Bear Picnic, and Marzipan in PDT’s The Nutcracker. Sara has enjoyed getting to go to The Ballet Alliance festival, and is excited to go again. Outside of dance she loves to spend time playing the piano and hanging out with her cat.

Nathaniel Cisler

Zachary Cisler

Nathaniel Cisler is a sophomore in high school. He has been dancing since age 3 and is continuing his training as a performing dancer. Some of his favorite roles include Marzipan from The Nutcracker, Pas De Trois from Swan Lake, and Bluebird from The Sleeping Beauty. When not dancing, Nathaniel enjoys relaxing, hanging out with friends, swimming, and writing.

Zachary Cisler is a sophomore in high school and is currently a performing member of PDT. Since the age of three, he has danced in many PDT productions throughout the years. Some of his favorite roles include the Prince, Chinese Trio, and Spanish Chocolate in The Nutcracker, Cavalier, a Suitor, and Puss in Boots in The Sleeping Beauty, and Neapolitan in Swan Lake. He has choreographed for PDT’s 2023 Choreography Showcase and his piece, “Metamorphic”, was picked to perform at the 2023 TBA Festival in El Paso. When not dancing, Zachary enjoys playing with his pet cats, reading comics, and swimming.

Sophia Jorgensen

Sophia Jorgensen is a junior in high school and this is her sixth year as a PDT company member. She has been dancing since the age of five at Bremerton Dance Center. Some productions she has performed in are, The Nutcracker, Choreography Showcase, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and School Tour. Some of her favorite roles have been Chinese and Doll in The Nutcracker, Fairy of Grace in Sleeping Beauty, and Blue Bird in BDC's Teddy Bear Picnic. This last summer she enjoyed attending State Street Ballet's Summer Intensive for three weeks in Santa Barbara, California. Outside of dance she likes camping, reading, and spending time with friends.

Gabrielle Muller

Gabrielle Muller is a Senior in high school and has been dancing with BDC for 15 years and PDT for 7 years. She has performed in many PDT productions such as: The Nutcracker, Season Opener, Spring Ballet, and School Tour. Some of her favorite roles have been Spanish and Clara in The Nutcracker and the Fairy of Song and the White Cat in Sleeping Beauty. Gabrielle has attended multiple summer intensives including Texas Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theater and Bremerton Dance Center. When Gabrielle is not dancing, she enjoys swimming, reading, and spending time with her friends. She is thankful for the love and support that she has been given by her friends and family over the years.

Anika Oishi

Anika Oishi is a freshman in high school who has been dancing since the age of two. Her favorite past roles include a swan in Swan Lake, Waltz of the Flowers in The Nutcracker, and the Amethyst jewel in Sleeping Beauty. She enjoyed attending The Ballet Alliance Festival in El Paso, Texas. Anika has attended several BDC summer intensives and Interlochen Arts Camp on a merit scholarship for ballet. In addition to dancing Anika enjoys playing the cello, reading, and traveling.

Vivian Van Hollebeke

Vivian Van Hollebeke is a sophomore in high school and a performing member with PDT. She has been dancing for 3 years and has been apart of PDT for 2 years. She has performed in many PDT productions such as The Nutcracker, Swan lake, Sleeping beauty, choreography showcase, and season opener. Vivian has attended many of BDC’s summer intensive as well as Boston Ballet 2023 Summer dance program. Outside of dance Vivian enjoys hanging out with her friends, and watching tv.
