Principal Dancers
MaryClare Gehring
MaryClare Gehring is a senior in high school and a Principal Member with PDT. She began dancing at Bremerton Dance Center seven years ago and is very excited for her sixth-year dancing for PDT. She has enjoyed going to a variety of summer intensives including Bremerton Dance Center, Johansen Ballet Center, Tacoma City Ballet, Olympic Ballet Theatre, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin, and Ballet Chicago. She has been in several productions including Choreography Showcase, Season Opener, and Spring Ballet. Her favorite roles with PDT include Rose Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Autumn Fairy in Cinderella. She is very thankful to all of her friends and family for supporting her and she is excited to continue dancing after high school.

Aiyanna Huttleston
Aiyanna Huttleston is a junior in high school and a Principal member with PDT. She has been dancing with Bremerton Dance Center for seven years. Some of her favorite roles have been Pinocchio in BDC’s recital Pinocchio, Arabian princess and Rose Queen in The Nutcracker, and Spring Fairy in Cinderella. Aiyanna enjoyed attending BDC’s summer intensive program and The Ballet Alliance. Aiyanna attended Kansas City Ballet’s summer intensive program in 2020 and 2021, and most recently Ballet Chicago’s summer program. Before dancing with BDC, Aiyanna attended Ithaca Ballet, where she performed The Nutcracker and Cinderella. Aside from dancing, she enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, and spending time with her loved ones.

Marisa Oishi

Marisa Oishi is a junior in high school who has been dancing since the age of three. Her favorite past roles with PDT include Clara and Snow Princess in the Nutcracker, one of the Four Swans and Neapolitan Trio in Swan Lake. Marisa has attended several of BDC’s summer intensives, as well as Interlochen Arts Camp for two summers on merit scholarships, majoring in Classical Ballet and Creative Writing. In addition to dancing, Marisa is Chief Editor of her school literature and art magazine, and enjoys writing and playing clarinet.
Sydney Scott
Sydney Scott Sydney Scott is a senior in high school. She has been dancing with BDC for 12 years and PDT for 5 years and is a Principal company member. She has performed in many PDT productions such as The Nutcracker, Season Opener, Spring Ballet, School Tour, and Choreography Showcase. Some of her favorite roles include Clara, Snow Corp, and Marzipan in The Nutcracker. She has loved participating in Regional Dance America Pacific and The Ballet Alliance Festival and is looking forward to attending again. She has also enjoyed partaking in BDC’s summer intensives over the past 5 years and Ballet Austin's 2022 summer intensive. Aside from dance, Sydney loves art, hiking, and playing the violin.

Sara Bell
Sara Bell is a junior in high school. She has been dancing with Bremerton Dance Canter for 13 years. This is her 6th year as a member of Peninsula Dance Theater and her 3rd year as a Performing member. Some of her favorite roles have included Bluebird in Peter and The Wolf, Wally the Bear in BDC’s recital Teddy Bear Picnic, and Marzipan corps de ballet in PDT’s The Nutcracker. Sara has enjoyed getting to go to The Ballet Alliance festival, and is excited to go again. Outside of dance she loves to spend time playing the piano and hanging out with her cat.

Nathaniel Cisler is a freshman in high school. He has been dancing at BDC since age 3 and is excited to be starting his first year as a Performing dancer. Nathaniel has danced in many Bremerton Dance Center recitals, as well as dancing in three Choreography Showcases, and two Season Openers. He has also performed many parts in The Nutcracker, such as Fritz and the Prince, with his favorite role being Marzipan trio from The Nutcracker. When not dancing, Nathaniel enjoys relaxing, hanging out with friends, swimming, and reading.

Zachary Cisler Zachary Cisler is a freshman in high school and is excited to dance his first year as a Performing member. Since the age of 3, he has dance in many Nutcrackers, Recitals, and Choreography Showcases. Some of his favorite previous roles include the Prince and Chinese Trio in Nutcracker, and Neapolitan in Swan Lake. Outside of dance, Zachary enjoys hanging with his two cats, reading comics, and swimming.
Sophia Jorgensen

Sophia Jorgensen is a sophomore in high school and this is her fifth year as a PDT company member. She has been dancing since the age of five at Bremerton Dance Center. Some productions she has performed in are The Nutcracker, Choreography Showcase, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and School Tour. Some of her favorite roles have been Chinese and Girl Cousin in The Nutcracker and Blue Bird in BDC's Teddy Bear Picnic. Outside of dance she likes camping, reading, and spending time with friends.
Gabrielle Muller

Gabrielle Muller is a Junior in high school and has been dancing with BDC for 14 years and PDT for 6 years. She has performed in many PDT productions such as: The Nutcracker, Season Opener, Spring Ballet, and School Tour. Some of her favorite roles have been Snow Corps and Clara in The Nutcracker and the Cat in Peter and the Wolf. Gabrielle has attended multiple summer intensives including Texas Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theater and Bremerton Dance Center. When Gabrielle is not dancing, she enjoys swimming, reading, and spending time with her friends. She is thankful for the love and support that she has been given by her friends and family over the years.
Ruth Ross

Ruth Ross is a senior in high school and running start student at Olympic College. She is a Performing company member at PDT. Ruth has been dancing with Bremerton Dance Center since she was 3 years old, and PDT since 2016. Ruth has enjoyed roles such as Spanish soloist in The Nutcracker, and Swans in Swan Lake. Ruth has attended many of BDC’s annual summer intensives as well as the TBA summer project virtually in 2021 and in person in 2022 where she had the opportunity to study choreography for two weeks under Amy Siewert. Ruth is very thankful for the opportunity to choreograph for TBA’s Emerging Choreographer program as well as PDT’s Choreography showcase in 2021 and 2022. She looks forward to continuing to choreograph and dance for PDT this year.
Fiona Skinner
Fiona Skinner is a junior in High School. She began studying dance with Bremerton Dance Center at the age of four and joined Peninsula Dance Theater ’s Junior Company in 2016. She is excited to continue a performing member with the company. Fiona enjoyed performing the Two Swans, in Swan Lake, and the part of, The Doll, in The Nutcracker. She also enjoyed the opportunity to dance the part of Peter in Peter and the Wolf with the Peninsula Ballet Orchestra. Fiona had the opportunity to attend The Ballet Alliance annual festival in 2018, 2019, and 2021, and she is excited to return this spring. When Fiona is not dancing, she enjoys doing leadership with her school, and spending time with friends and family.
