Company Dancers

Muriel Acker first joined PDT in 2014, and danced until graduating from high school in 2021. After completing her Bachelor's degree in psychology, she returned home, accepted a job with a community health care company, and now continues her training with PDT. Muriel has performed roles such as the Snow Queen, Arabian Princess, and Doll in PDT’s annual The Nutcracker, as well as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella and the Mazurka lead in Coppélia. She has performed in many pieces in Choreography Showcase throughout the years and has performed at multiple dance festivals hosted by The Ballet Alliance. She’s happy to be back with PDT and doing what she loves.

Sara Bell is a 2024 graduate and has since earned her Associate’s degree. She has been dancing with Bremerton Dance Center for 15 years and is entering her second season as a teacher there. This marks her 9th year as a member of Peninsula Dance Theatre and her 5th year as a Performing Member. Some of her favorite roles have included Winter Fairy in Cinderella, Peace in Coppélia, and Rose and Spanish Chocolate in PDT’s The Nutcracker. In addition to performing, Sara’s choreography was chosen to be presented at The Ballet Alliance Festival, and she is excited to continue choreographing in the future. She has attended multiple Bremerton Dance Center Summer Intensives as well as Colorado Ballet Academy’s Summer Intensive. Outside of dance, Sara enjoys playing instruments such as piano and guitar, and has been adjudicated for her piano performance. She has also been recognized on the Dean’s List multiple times for her academic achievements.

Zoey Carvell is a freshman in high school and a Performing Member with PDT. She has been a part of various productions such as The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Season Opener and Choreography Showcase. Her favorite roles include Gretel in BDC's Hansel and Gretel and Clara in PDT's The Nutcracker. Outside of dance, Zoey enjoys camping at the beach, tending to her budgies (Yellonda and Dream) and High Jump. She was the 2023 West Sound League High Jump Champion with a personal record of 5 feet.

Nathaniel Cisler is a senior in high school. He has been dancing since age 3 and is continuing his training as a performing dancer for PDT. Some of his favorite roles include Marzipan and Snow King from The Nutcracker, Cavalier & Bluebird from The Sleeping Beauty, and Pas De Trois from Swan Lake. When not dancing, Nathaniel enjoys relaxing, hanging out with friends, swimming, and writing.

Zachary Cisler is a senior in high school currently in his 7th year with PDT and his 5th year as a performing member. He has been honored to receive scholarships from PDT to attend BDC’s Summer Intensive, Olympic Ballet Theatre’s Boys Summer Intensive, and The Ballet Alliance Virtual Summer Project for 3 years. His favorite roles throughout the years were Fairy Cavalier in Cinderella, Neapolitan in Swan Lake, Prince, Chinese Trio, and Marzipan in The Nutcracker, Cavalier, a Suitor, and Puss in Boots in The Sleeping Beauty, and Mazurka Couple in Coppélia. Zachary has choreographed as an emerging choreographer numerous times for PDT's Choreography Showcase. Two of his pieces, "Metamorphic" and "Distance Decay", were selected and performed at the The Ballet Alliance Festival 2023 in El Paso, Texas, and The Ballet Alliance Festival 2024 in Spokane, Washington. In May 2024, Zachary was awarded the CTE Student of the Year Award by Stephanie Winslow in the AP Environmental Science Department for his excellence in the class. When not dancing, Zachary enjoys playing with his cats, swimming, reading comics, and hiking. He thanks his family and friends for supporting him throughout the years and thanks Peninsula Dance Theatre for continuing to offer this opportunity.

Sophia Jorgensen is a recent 2025 graduate and has been dancing at Bremerton Dance Center since 2012. This is her eighth season with PDT and her fourth year as a performing member. She’s performed in many company productions including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Coppélia, The Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake. While performing she has had the opportunity to dance the roles of Sugarplum Fairy, Snow Queen, Cinderella, and many others. Over the past few summers she has attended Pacific Northwest Ballet’s summer course in 2024 and 2025, and State Street Ballet’s summer intensive in 2023. While not dancing she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, crochet, and spending time in nature.

Anika Oishi is a Junior in high school who has been dancing since the age of two. Her favorite past roles include the Autumn Fairy in Cinderella, Marzipan Soloist in The Nutcracker, and the Amethyst Jewel in The Sleeping Beauty. This last summer, she attended San Francisco Ballet’s summer program. In the past, Anika has also attended the Pacific Northwest Ballet summer intensive, several BDC summer intensives and Interlochen Arts Camp on a merit scholarship. In addition to dancing, Anika enjoys spending time with her friends, involving herself in her school, and traveling.

Brennan Rood has danced with PDT since 2012. Prominent roles Brennan has performed over the years are: Cavalier, Prince, and Snow King in The Nutcracker, Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Désiré in The Sleeping Beauty, and Prince Charming in Cinderella, as well as many performing roles in various dances in both PDT's Season Opener and Choreography Showcase. Brennan has also participated and performed at various summer intensives around the country, such as Olympic Ballet Theatre's summer intensive in Edmonds, Washington; Long Beach Ballet's summer intensive in Long Beach, California; American Ballet Theatre's summer intensive in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and Summer Dance Lab in Walla Walla, Washington.

Vivian Van Hollebeke is a senior in high school and a performing member with PDT. She has been dancing for 5 years and has been a part of PDT for 4 years. She has performed in several PDT productions including, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Coppélia, Cinderella, Choreography Showcase, PDT's Season Opener and The Nutcracker. Her favorite roles have been snow queen, doll soloist and waltz corps in The Nutcracker. Vivian has attended many summer programs including Boston Ballet's summer dance program in 2023 and again in 2024 on full tuition scholarship that she received at the Ballet Alliance festival. This last summer she attended Miami City Ballet 5 week summer intensive. Outside of dancing Vivian enjoys traveling, shopping and cooking.
